William Louzader, 81, of Washington, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, in St. James, Missouri. William was born on July 25, 1938, in Newberg, Missouri to the late William E. Louzader and the late Alma Giddens Louzader and was united in marriage on February 23, 1980, to Theresa O’Brien. William was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a dedicated addiction counselor who helped many people navigate the difficult path to recovery from drug, alcohol, and gambling abuse. He enjoyed his career as a talented graphic artist and served his fellow printing union members as a union representative for nine years. William, with his unique personality and diverse interests, also found time to dance with Theresa and build many friendships through many dance clubs over the years.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019, from 1 pm until time of service at 3 pm at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, 1206 Jefferson St., Washington, Missouri 63090. Intombment will follow at Midlawn Memorial Mausoleum. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
William is survived by his wife, Theresa Louzader; four children, Patrick Louzader, DeWayne Twidwell, Derek Louzader and Jamie, and Lana Twidwell; one sister, Shelby Davis and Jim; ten grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Leona Hamilton, Bob Louzader, Gena Louzader, and Doris Aslinger.
