Vernon J. Cain

Vernon J. Cain, 65 , of Washington, formerly of Sullivan, passed away on May 1, 2021. Mr. Cain, son of the late Vernon Cain and Margaret nee Beyreis, was born on October 21, 1955 in Sullivan. He received his education from Sullivan High School. Vernon was employed for many years at Chrysler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rick Cain.

Among his survivors are two children, Chad Cain of Warrenton and Lute Cain and wife Liz of Washington; grandson, Gunnar Cain of Washington; Lisa Cain, who is the mother of his children, Chad, Lute, and Hobie; In-laws, Caren Cain McCullough and husband Paul of Sullivan; niece, Jaida Cain; two nephews, Aidan Cain and Shadrick Howard; Aunt Mary, who was like a second mother to him; other relatives and friends.
