Thomas H. Diviney

Thomas H. Diviney , 82 , of Labadie, passed away on October 7, 2021. Mr. Diviney, son of the late Thomas J. Diviney and his wife Alma nee Haley, was born on May 12, 1939 in New York. He received his education from Washington University in St. Louis. On September 9, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sheila Sullivan at the St. Mary Magdelene Church in St. Louis. Thomas was employed at McDonnell Douglas as a computer programmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sheila Diviney and three siblings, Paula Burke, Joseph Diviney, and Susan Diviney.

Among his survivors are his daughters, Mary Diviney Olson and husband Dustin of O’Fallon and Sarah Diviney Scott and husband William of Washington; brother, Richard Diviney and wife Angela; five grandchildren, Brendan Olson and fiance Caroline Murphy, Kaitlin Olson, Haley Fields, Richard Fields, and James Scott; great-grandson, Elliott Murphy; In-laws, Maggie Diviney, Laura Diviney, and William Burke; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday at St. John’s Gildehaus Church. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. John’s Gildehaus Church.
