Raymond H. Frankenberg Sr.

Raymond H. Frankenberg Sr., 85, of Washington, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018, at home. He was born on January 27, 1933, to the late Frank and Eleanora (nee Kuenzel) Frankenberg in Marthasville. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Smith on May 18, 1957, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.

Ray is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Frankenberg of Washington; four children, Ray Frankenberg II and wife Debi of Washington, Mark Frankenberg and wife Georgia of Washington, Diane Glastetter and husband Steve of Washington, and Jared Frankenberg and Kelly Kerr of Washington; three sisters, Bernice Kemner and husband Paul of Augusta, Sister Eleanor Frankenberg, SSND,St. Louis and Viola “Toots” Struckhoff of Augusta; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank “Jim” Frankenberg and Robert “Bob” Frankenberg.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 4 until 8 pm at the Washington Elks Lodge 1559. The 11^th hour Tolling and Military honors for Ray will be held at 6PM. Food and Drinks will be provided.
