Michelle M. Holland

Michelle M. Holland, 66 , of Washington, passed away on June 5, 2021. Mrs. Holland, daughter of the late Edward Burns and his wife Elizabeth Anne Stites, was born on November 25, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. She received her education from UMKC. On October 24, 1992, she was united in marriage to John Holland at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Kansas City, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Burns and brother, Jerry Burns.

Among her survivors are her husband, John Holland of Washington; mother, Elizabeth Burns of of Kansas City, MO; two sons, Christopher Joseph Holland and wife Jenny Jane of Washington and Sean Michael Holland of Wisconsin; brother, Kevin Burns of Georgia; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 4-6 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, at 6 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Boston, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
