Larry Meyer Obituary

Larry James Meyer, 75, of Marthasville, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Lake St. Louis. Larry was born in Washington on August 13, 1943, to the late John L. and Pansy E. (nee Birdwell) Meyer. He served two and a half years in the Army where he was stationed in Germany. When he returned home he began his career at Hazel and entered into marriage with his beloved wife on April 3, 1965. He later went west where he ran his successful company Plainsman Printing and Supplies based out of Sheridan, Wyoming. Eventually he returned to Missouri where he also worked on new construction and home restoration, which was a passion and not just a career. He loved traveling with his wife and family counting Kiawah Island, South Carolina, Eminence, Missouri and Ireland as some his favorite destinations. He loved the great outdoors and sharing time there with family. He was an active member of New Life Church in Washington. He lived out the final years of his life as a loving grandfather who was a constant staple at his beloved grandson Johnny's sporting events. He was also a 34 year friend of Bill W.
