Jim Scheible Obituary

Lewis J. “Jim” Scheible, 66, of Washington, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at Grandview Care Center. Jim was born on September 3, 1953, to the late Herman and Virginia (nee Hamann) Scheible. Jim loved hunting and fishing in rural Missouri and during the summer he enjoyed getting together with family, rounds of golf with his sons, and playing softball.

 

A visitation will be held from 3 pm until time of service at 7 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Lung Association.

 

Jim is survived by two children, Scott Scheible and wife Amy of Eureka and Jason Scheible and significant other Melissa Noll of Washington; five siblings; twin sister Jane Haefner of St. Louis, Sheila Skornia and husband Tom of Washington, Duane Scheible and wife Joel of Washington, Sherrie Kleekamp and husband Joe of Washington, and Rick Scheible and wife Pam of Washington; one aunt, Darlene Kolkmeier and husband Harlan of Washington; other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law Fred Haefner, and a nephew Kurt Skornia.
