Eloise Young Obituary

Eloise F. Young , 76 , of Washington, passed away on May 26, 2021. Eloise, daughter of the late Waldemar Skepeneit and Mary Abrams nee Curran, was born on December 25, 1944 in St. Louis. She received her education from the Missouri School for the Deaf. On May 7, 1966, she was united in marriage to Gaylord Young at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Richard Abrams; mother and father-in-law, Earline and Roy Young, and five brother-in-laws, Roylin, Dale, and Gerald Young, James Mann, and John Adams.

Among her survivors are her husband, Gaylord Young of Washington; four siblings, Phyllis Skepeneit Mann of Eureka, Izetta Skepeneit of New Haven, Wilma Skepeneit Adams of Washington, and Joyce Abrams Mills and husband Jerry of Washington; brother-in-law, Clay Young; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 4-7 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the funeral service beginning at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the New Haven Care Center.
