Betty Damschroeder Obituary

Betty L. Damschroeder, 75 , of Washington, passed away on November 5, 2021. Mrs. Damschroeder, daughter of the late Stanley Wright and his wife Fern nee Jett, was born on December 18, 1945 in Washington. She received her education from Washington High School. On April 4, 1964, she was united in marriage to Richard Damschroeder at the St. Francis Borgia Church. Betty worked as a seamstress at Wonder Maid.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Whitworth.

Among her survivors are her husband, Richard Damschroeder of Washington; son, Kevin Damschroeder and wife Rachel of Marthasville; daughter, Lisa Scharfenberg of Marthasville; brother, Louis Wright of Erie, PA; three grandchildren, Morgan Damschroeder, Ryleigh Damschroeder, and Kalie Schneider; two great-grandchildren, Dallas and Dakota Schneider; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 4-7 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Washington. Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Cemetery in Washington. Memorial donations can be made to the Washington High School Band Boosters.
