Bernice Connor, nee Aholt, 88, passed away Friday, July 2,2021.
Bernice, daughter of the late Francis Aholt and wife Victoria, nee Piontek, was born February 25, 1933, in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia Grade School. Bernice was united in marriage to William E. Connor on May 5,1956 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. The couple made their home in Washington, and the marriage was blessed with four children.
Bernice was employed at Sporlan Valve for over 40 years before retiring. She enjoyed many things in life, but most of all she loved spending time with her loving husband , children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William Connor; 1 son Jeff and wife Bev, Washington; 2 daughters, Beth Maniaci and husband Mike, Washington and Keli Graham and husband Jim, Ballwin; 1 son-in-law Rich Marquart and wife Becky, Washington; thirteen grandchildren; Ben Connor and wife Emily, Jennifer Gradel and husband Jeff, Amy Connor and fiancé Darrell Cain, Dustin Maniaci, Brittany Locher and husband Eric, Demi Maniaci, Taylor Marquart, Rehgan Marquart, Alexa Kramer, Sara Kramer, Connor Kramer, Abby Graham and fiancé Peter Birk, and Justin Graham; twelve great grandchildren; In-laws Kathy Noelker and husband Don, Ruth Noelker, Marty Dennis, and Mike Connor and wife Marie; other relatives and friends.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Victoria Aholt; her daughter Lynn Marquart; four sisters, Armella Peirick, Joanne Roetheli, Irene Kleekamp and Mary Beth Haddox; and three brothers, Norbert Aholt, Wilfred Aholt and Francis Aholt.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Memorial donations can be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
