Aleen S. Westhoff

Aleen S. Westhoff, 87 , of Krakow, passed away on May 29, 2021. Mrs. Westhoff, daughter of the late Aloys Marquart and his wife Mayme nee Lause, was born on July 30, 1933 in Washington. She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School. On June 2, 1954, she was united in marriage to Joseph Westhoff at St. Gertrude’s Church. They were blessed with three children..

Aleen was a homemaker most of her life. She worked a few years at JCPenney in Washington as a sales associate. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a devout Catholic, attending St. Gertrude’s Parish in Krakow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Westhoff, and a sister in infancy, Mary Marquart.

She is survived by her three children:  Stan Westhoff and wife Marikay, Tom Westhoff and wife Judy, and Jolene Diener and husband Scott, all of Krakow: her sister, Irene Hillerman of Krakow:  ten grandchildren, Alan Westhoff and wife Vicki, Jerry Westhoff, Elizabeth Westhoff, Matt Westhoff and wife LeAnne, Jake Westhoff and wife Isabel, Crista Moore and husband Dave, Deanna Sullivan and husband Ian, Bryan Diener and wife Laura, Jamie Holtmeier and husband Jeff, and Rachel Hunt and husband Shane: fourteen great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law Victoria “Tookie” Westhoff and Jeanette Westhoff;  and many other friends and relatives.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 9-10 A.M. at St. Gertrude’s Church, with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10 A.M. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Gertrude’s Endowment Fund or Masses.
